TheStaff Selection Commission (SSC)has released thefinal result of the Constable (GD) Examination 2025, bringing the long, multi-stage recruitment process to a close. The recruitment drive was conducted to fillConstable (GD) posts in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF),Rifleman (GD) posts in the Assam Rifles, andSepoy posts in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
Candidates can check and download the final result by visiting the official SSC website atssc.gov.in.
TheComputer-Based Examination (CBE)for SSC GD 2025 was held betweenFebruary 4 and February 25, 2025, and the written exam result was declared onJune 17, 2025. A total of3,94,121 candidatesqualified for the next stage, including40,213 female candidatesand3,53,908 male candidates.
All shortlisted candidates were called to appear for thePhysical Efficiency Test (PET)andPhysical Standard Test (PST).
The PET and PST were conducted by variousCentral Armed Police Forces between August 20 and September 15, 2025, under the supervision of theCentral Reserve Police Force (CRPF), which acted as the nodal CAPF. The PET/PST results were announced onOctober 13, 2025, after which95,575 candidatesadvanced to the next stage.
Candidates who cleared the PET/PST were required to appear for theDetailed Medical Examination (DME),Document Verification (DV)and, where applicable, theReview Medical Examination (RME). These stages were also conducted by the respective CAPFs under CRPF supervision.
Based on candidates’ performance across all stages, the SSC has now declared thefinal result for SSC GD Constable 2025. Force allocation has been done on the basis ofmerit, availability of vacancies and preferences filled during the application process.
The SSC clarified that category allocation has been carried out strictly according to the options exercised by candidates in their online application forms. Candidates belonging toSC, ST and OBC categorieswho migrated from theirState or Union Territory of originwere considered under their reserved category only if they opted to claim reservation from their State or UT of origin.
If such candidates did not exercise this option, they were treated asUnreserved (UR)candidates from their State or UT of domicile, in accordance with the provisions mentioned in the examination notice.
