On the second approach to Runway 11, the aircraft was cleared to land at 08:43 AM but did not read back the clearance.

At 08:44 AM, ATC observed flames near the runway threshold. No Mayday call was received during the landing attempts. The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has taken over the investigation. Emergency services responded immediately to the crash site.
