The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) on Monday started the Class 12 (Intermediate) annual examinations across the state, marking a key academic milestone for lakhs of students. A total of 13,17,846 candidates are appearing at 1,762 examination centres spread across different districts.
The exams are being conducted in two shifts daily, with the first shift starting at 9:30 am and the second at 2 pm. Students have been instructed to arrive early to complete mandatory verification and security procedures.
To ensure fairness and transparency, the board has implemented strict measures, including additional invigilators, administrative staff, CCTV surveillance, frisking protocols, and restricted entry around exam venues. BSEB officials have warned that any violation of examination rules will lead to strict action.
These examinations play a crucial role for students aspiring to pursue higher education and professional courses. The board is expected to share further updates related to evaluation and result timelines in the coming weeks.
