Prohibitory orders under BNS Section 163 have been imposed across the town, and police patrolling has been intensified. Sundargarh Collector Subhankar Mohapatra said security measures, including the suspension of internet and social media services, aim to maintain public safety and prevent rumors. A peace committee is planned to discuss further actions, and officials have urged residents to cooperate to ensure law and order.
