Meghan Trainor and her husband, actor Daryl Sabara, have expanded their family with the birth of their third child, a baby girl named Mikey Moon Trainor. The couple welcomed their daughter via surrogate on January 18, 2026, and shared the joyful news through an Instagram post on January 20.

Expressing gratitude, Trainor thanked their surrogate and the medical teams involved, noting that the decision to pursue surrogacy came after extensive consultations with doctors to ensure the safest path forward for their family. “Our baby girl Mikey Moon Trainor has finally made it to the world thanks to our incredible, superwoman surrogate,” the singer wrote.

Trainor and Sabara, who married in 2018, are already parents to two sons—Riley, four, and Barry, two. The couple shared that their sons were deeply involved in the arrival of their baby sister and even helped choose her middle name. “We are over the moon in love with this precious girl,” Trainor added, saying the family plans to spend time together before returning to public life.

The Grammy-winning artist has long spoken about her desire to have a big family and has frequently credited motherhood with reshaping her personal and professional journey. Trainor has said that becoming a mother reignited her creative drive, giving her career “a whole new life.”

Trainor is currently preparing for the release of her seventh studio album, Toy With Me, scheduled for April 24, 2026, followed by her Get In Girl Tour beginning in June. As she balances music and motherhood, the singer continues to describe this phase of her life as one of growth, gratitude, and renewed confidence.
