Former India opener Shikhar Dhawan is reportedly set to marry his longtime girlfriend, Sophie Shine, in February. According to reports, the wedding celebrations are expected to take place in the third week of February in the Delhi-NCR region, with several notable personalities from the worlds of cricket and film likely to attend.

While details of the ceremony are being kept under wraps, sources say preparations for the grand celebration are already underway. Those close to the couple describe the event as a fresh beginning, marked by quiet joy and gratitude, with Dhawan personally overseeing the arrangements.

Dhawan’s relationship with Irish national Sophie Shine first caught public attention during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, when the couple was seen together in the stands. Reports suggest they initially met in Dubai a few years ago, with their friendship gradually evolving into a romantic relationship. The pair has reportedly been living together for over a year.

Dhawan was previously married to Ayesha Mukherjee, with whom he shares an 11-year-old son, Zoravar. The marriage ended in divorce in 2023.
