Shakira to Headline Multi-City Feeding India Concert in Mumbai and Delhi This April

Global pop icon Shakira will perform in Mumbai and Delhi as part of the 2026 Feeding India Concert, raising awareness for child nutrition and hunger. Tickets go on sale starting February 27.

Four-time Grammy winner Shakira is returning to India this April to headline the 2026 edition of the Feeding India Concert, marking the initiative’s first-ever multi-city format. She will perform in Mumbai on April 10 at Mahalaxmi Racecourse, followed by a Delhi show on April 15 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

Shakira expressed her excitement about performing in India, saying, “Performing in India has always been special to me, and I’m excited to connect with my fans across Mumbai and Delhi. The Feeding India Concert is about more than music; it’s about standing together to ensure every child has access to the nutrition they need to thrive.”

Produced and distributed by District, the concert aims to raise awareness about hunger and malnutrition, highlighting the importance of proper nutrition for children. The 2026 edition will feature multiple cities, emphasizing Shakira’s commitment to social causes alongside her musical performance.

Shakira is known globally for hits such as Hips Don’t Lie, Whenever, Wherever, and the World Cup anthem Waka Waka (This Time for Africa). Beyond music, she advocates for children’s welfare through her Barefoot Foundation, focusing on education and support for vulnerable communities.

The Feeding India Concert has become one of the country’s most prominent music-for-change platforms, mobilizing artists and citizens to contribute toward the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal of Zero Hunger by 2030. Ticket sales will open in phases from February 27, with general sales starting March 1. Opening acts for the shows are expected to be announced soon, adding to the anticipation of this landmark event.
