IMDb released its weekly rankings based on audience interest and engagement, and Sara Arjun’s rise has been meteoric. After finishing second last week, she jumped to the top position following widespread praise for her portrayal of Yalina in Dhurandhar. Her performance has not only resonated with audiences but also driven a surge in online searches and page views.

Aditya Dhar’s steady climb

Close on Sara’s heels is director Aditya Dhar, who moved up to second place from third. With Dhurandhar now officially the highest-grossing Hindi film in India, Dhar’s visibility has soared, reinforcing his reputation as one of the most bankable filmmakers in the industry today.

Where other stars stand

The latest IMDb list features a wide mix of actors and filmmakers:

• Vijay ranked at No. 8

• Agastya Nanda came in at No. 12

• Bhagyashri Borse placed at No. 15

• Prabhas featured at No. 19

Several other prominent names from across industries also made the cut, highlighting the pan-India nature of audience interest.

Dhurandhar’s record-breaking run

Led by Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar has rewritten box-office history. The spy thriller has collected ₹831.40 crore net in India, surpassing the previous benchmark set by the Hindi version of Pushpa 2: The Rule. Even on Day 33, the film continued to draw crowds, adding nearly ₹5.70 crore net.

What’s next

With Dhurandhar still dominating conversations, attention has already shifted to Dhurandhar 2, slated for a theatrical release on March 19. If the current momentum is any indication, both Sara Arjun and Aditya Dhar are poised to remain at the forefront of popularity charts in the weeks ahead.
