Punjabi singer Talwiinder has spoken out for the first time about the dating rumours linking him to Bollywood actor Disha Patani, following their multiple public appearances that sparked widespread speculation. The rumours gained momentum after the duo were spotted together at the wedding of Kriti Sanon’s sister, Nupur Sanon, and singer Stebin Ben in Udaipur, with photos and videos quickly going viral on social media.
In an exclusive interview withThe Hollywood Reporter India, Talwiinder, whose real name is Talwinder Singh Sidhu, clarified that he and Disha Patani had only recently met, shortly before the wedding. He described their connection as a developing acquaintance and chose not to define it further.
Addressing the speculation directly, Talwiinder said, “We are still discovering ourselves. Still figuring out ourselves. I would just like to leave it at that because if they’re going to try to spread the rumours, I am going to let the rumours be rumours.”
When asked if he was in love, the singer offered a cryptic response that further fuelled curiosity. “I fall in love every day. I am falling in love right now,” he said, without naming anyone explicitly.
The rumours initially began after images from Udaipur surfaced online, followed by a brief airport appearance in Mumbai where Talwiinder attempted to avoid photographers. These moments intensified public interest in the nature of their relationship.
