Priyanka Chopra has wrapped up the latest schedule of her much-anticipated Indian film Varanasi in Hyderabad and has now returned to Los Angeles to begin promotions for her upcoming English-language action thriller, The Bluff.
The actor shared updates with fans on social media, confirming that she has completed her shoot for the month under SS Rajamouli’s direction and will rejoin the Varanasi team soon after fulfilling promotional commitments in the United States. Expressing her fondness for the city, Chopra posted a photo of Hyderabad’s iconic bun maska, writing, “Taking a piece of Hyderabad with me… see you soon.”
Varanasi marks Priyanka Chopra’s return to Indian cinema after a significant hiatus. She plays Mandakini, a thief, in a role that promises a fierce and dynamic on-screen presence. First-look posters from the film show Chopra in a yellow saree, wielding a pistol, signalling a powerful character arc. She stars alongside Mahesh Babu in the film.
Mahesh Babu recently praised Chopra’s performance in The Bluff, sharing the film’s trailer on social media and calling her “uncompromising and formidable.” The trailer has already generated considerable buzz ahead of the film’s release.
In The Bluff, Chopra takes on the lead role of Ercell Bodden in an action thriller produced by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO Studios in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios. The film also stars Temuera Morrison, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Safia Oakley-Green, Zach Morris, David Field, and Vedanten Naidoo.
With The Bluff set to release on February 25 and Varanasi progressing steadily, Priyanka Chopra continues to balance major projects across Indian and international cinema.
