The Odisha Government on Tuesday effected a minor reshuffle in the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) cadre, issuing fresh transfer and posting orders for several senior officers as part of routine administrative adjustments.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department, Priyaranjan Prusty, OAS (SAG), who was serving as CDO-cum-Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, Puri, has been transferred and posted as Administrator (Niti) of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), Puri. The posting was made with the approval of the competent authority.
In a separate notification released by the Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department, two OAS officers have been reassigned as Block Development Officers (BDOs).
Akshay Kumar Parida, who was serving as Ex-Tahasildar of Tigiria in Cuttack district, has been appointed as BDO of Niali block in Cuttack district. Meanwhile, Chhabirani Sahoo, previously serving as BDO of Gop block in Puri district, has been transferred and posted as BDO of Binjharpur block in Jajpur district.
Officials stated that the reshuffle is part of routine administrative measures aimed at strengthening governance, improving administrative efficiency, and ensuring effective implementation of government programmes at the district and block levels.
