The mortal remains of 46-year-old Odia youth Pramod Sahu, who passed away in Saudi Arabia, were brought back to Odisha after nine days, bringing relief to his grieving family.
Pramod, a resident of Kulasamit village under Salepur in Cuttack district, reportedly died of a heart attack on February 13 while working as a Mechanical Project Manager in a company abroad. His sudden death left the family devastated, but procedural formalities delayed the return of his body.
Facing difficulties, the family sought help from Kendrapara MP and BJP National Vice President Baijayant Panda. Following his intervention, officials coordinated with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian Embassy to complete the necessary documentation and clearances.
With the support of authorities and timely assistance, Pramod’s mortal remains were finally flown back to Odisha, allowing his family to perform the last rites and find closure after days of uncertainty.
