Mardaani 3 Box Office Collection Day 7: Rani Mukerji Starrer Earns Rs 26.30 Crore in First Week

Rani Mukerji’s Mardaani 3 has completed its first week at the box office with a domestic collection of Rs 26.30 crore. Despite strong expectations, the film witnessed a steady decline in earnings after the opening weekend, impacted by mixed reviews, low occupancy, and stiff competition from other releases.

Mardaani 3, starring Rani Mukerji as cop Shivani Shivaji Roy, wrapped up its first week in theatres with a total domestic box office collection of Rs 26.30 crore. Released on January 30, the action drama opened at Rs 4 crore on Friday and saw growth over the weekend, collecting Rs 7.25 crore on Sunday. However, weekday collections dipped consistently, reflecting muted audience interest and mixed word of mouth.

Directed by Abhiraj Minawala, the film addresses the sensitive issue of girl child trafficking in India and was expected to perform strongly at the box office. Despite this, the film struggled to sustain momentum, facing competition from other major releases. According to Sacnilk, Mardaani 3 recorded a low Hindi occupancy of 9.57 per cent on Thursday, contributing to its declining daily earnings.

On the global front, the film performed slightly better, collecting Rs 39 crore worldwide. The cast also includes Mallika Prasad, Janki Bodiwala, and Mikhail Yawalkar in key roles.
