In a shocking incident, miscreants carried out an armed robbery in broad daylight at the Naraj–Bidhadharpur hills on the outskirts ofCuttackon Saturday. The incident has raised serious concerns over public safety in the area.According to reports, two youths from the Chandni Chowk area in Cuttack had gone to the Naraj–Bidhyadharpur hills for photography. While they were taking photographs atop the hill, two unidentified miscreants arrived at the spot on a motorcycle. The accused allegedly brandished a firearm, threatened the youths, and forcibly snatched away their camera before fleeing the scene.Following the incident, the victims lodged a complaint at the Godisahi police outpost. Police personnel immediately rushed to the spot and initiated an investigation into the matter. Efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the accused.
