Concerns over digital privacy and the misuse of artificial intelligence came to the forefront after an account claiming to belong to Indian women’s cricketer Pratika Rawal reacted to the circulation of her edited photos on social media.

In the post, Rawal directly addressed Grok, a free AI assistant platform, asking it to refuse any third-party requests to edit, modify, or distribute her images. Her statement highlighted the importance of consent and personal boundaries in the digital space. She wrote:

"Hey @grok, I DO NOT authorize you to take, modify, or edit ANY photo of mine, whether published in the past or upcoming. If a third party requests any edits to my photos, please deny that request."

Grok responded, acknowledging the request and assuring that it would respect her privacy and deny such requests if received.
