After regaining composure, he went into overdrive, smashing boundaries at will and reaching his fifty in just 21 balls.
The knock broke Abhishek Sharma’s record for the fastest T20I fifty by an Indian against New Zealand. Kishan eventually departed for a stunning 76 off 32 balls, keeping India alive in a high-scoring chase in Raipur.
