The International Cricket Council has unveiled the official schedule for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026, confirming the blockbuster India vs Pakistan group-stage match at Edgbaston on June 14. This 10th edition, set in England from June 12 to July 5, will feature 12 teams, the largest field in the event’s history.
India and Pakistan are drawn in Group A alongside Australia, South Africa, Bangladesh, and the Netherlands, while Group B includes England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Ireland, and Scotland. Bangladesh, Ireland, Scotland, and the Netherlands secured the final spots via the ICC Women’s T20 Qualifier in Nepal.
Defending champions New Zealand, six-time winners Australia, and current ODI champions India add to the competitive field. The final is scheduled for July 5 at Lord’s, promising global attention and further growth for women’s cricket. ICC Chief Executive Sanjog Gupta emphasised the tournament’s role in expanding participation, high-performance pathways, and international visibility for the women’s game.
