Zoya Afroz shines in Neeraj Pandey’sTaskaree: The Smugglers Web, streaming on Netflix, where she plays a pivotal role that drives several key twists, including the climax. In an exclusive chat with India Today, Afroz reflected on her journey with the project and shared candid thoughts about co-star Emraan Hashmi.
The actor admitted she had a very different image of Emraan before working with him. “The on-screen image of Emraan and off-screen are completely different. I was nervous when I first met him, but he’s such a gentleman in real life. His on-screen charisma is there, but his professionalism and calmness off-camera were really impressive,” she said.
Afroz also recounted her early days as a child artist inHum Saath Saath Hain, sharing fond memories of being pampered on set at just three years old.
