The bodies of a man and a woman were found near the Baghbali railway gate under Jaleswar police station limits in Odisha’s Balasore district on Tuesday, triggering concern among local residents. The incident reportedly came to light after locals noticed the bodies lying near the railway track and alerted the authorities.
Preliminary reports suggest that the two individuals may have died after being run over by a train late on Monday night. However, the exact cause of their deaths and the circumstances leading to the incident remain unclear.
Sources said the deceased man was a resident of Jaleswar, while the woman reportedly belonged to the Baliapal block of the district. Their identities and further details are yet to be officially confirmed by authorities.
