Bishnoi Gang Allegedly Demands Rs 10 Crore from Ranveer Singh in Voice Note Threat

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has allegedly been targeted by the Bishnoi gang, with reports claiming that a voice note demanding Rs 10 crore was sent to his manager from an American number. The Mumbai Police Crime Branch is investigating the matter and has reached out to relevant US authorities to trace the number used for the threat.

Preliminary findings suggest that the voice note was sent by a key Bishnoi gang associate, Harry Boxer. Officials have stated that the voice in the WhatsApp message matches Boxer’s, though further evidence is being gathered to substantiate the claim. The threat reportedly came shortly after a firing incident outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s residence. Following the incident, Ranveer Singh’s security has been tightened, and his manager has recorded a statement with the police.

The threatening audio reportedly contained chilling warnings: “We have complete details of every manager and every person who works with you…We won’t say anything to you directly. We will start targeting the people who work under you…We will kill your entire staff.” The message also extended caution to the broader Hindi film industry, warning that ignoring calls from the gang could have severe consequences.

Harry Boxer’s name has appeared in multiple incidents before, including the firing outside Rohit Shetty’s residence and a prior threat following a shooting outside a cafe owned by comedian Kapil Sharma in Canada. The individual has a history of targeting Bollywood figures, even threatening anyone associated with Salman Khan. Neither Ranveer Singh nor Rohit Shetty has issued a public statement regarding the latest threat.

As of now, no FIR has been formally registered, but the Crime Branch continues its preliminary inquiry into the matter, emphasizing the seriousness of extortion and organized threats in the entertainment industry.
