Veteran leader Bijoy Mohapatra on Friday alleged that a conspiracy might be behind his son Arvind Mohapatra’s suspension from the Biju Janata Dal (BJD).
Questioning the grounds for the action, he said Arvind has done nothing wrong and suggested the move was politically motivated.
Arvind was suspended on charges of betrayal, which Bijoy Mohapatra dismissed, asserting that if any proof existed, it should be made public.
He emphasized that the people of Odisha deserve clarity and questioned why action was taken against his son if no wrongdoing had occurred, while the BJD has not responded to the allegations.
