Pati Patni Aur Woh Do Release Postponed, Ayushmann Khurrana Starrer to Hit Theatres on May 15, 2026

Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Wamiqa Gabbi’s comedy-drama Pati Patni Aur Woh Do has been postponed from its Holi release and will now arrive in cinemas on May 15, 2026. The delay allows the makers to complete post-production and film a pending song.

The much-anticipated comedy-dramaPati Patni Aur Woh Do, featuring Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Wamiqa Gabbi, has been pushed to a new release date. Initially slated for a Holi 2026 release, the film will now hit theatres on May 15, 2026, as confirmed by trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

Sharing the update on X, Taran Adarsh announced that the Mudassar Aziz directorial will get additional time to wrap up post-production work and complete the filming of a pending song. The decision was reportedly taken to ensure the film is delivered in its best possible form rather than rushing the final stages.

According to a Bollywood Hungama report, the makers were unable to meet the original March 4 release plan due to ongoing post-production requirements. With a focus on quality and audience experience, the team chose to extend the timeline to fine-tune the film’s comic elements and overall presentation.

Pati Patni Aur Woh Domarks Mudassar Aziz’s return to the franchise after the success of the 2019 hitPati Patni Aur Woh, which starred Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday. The sequel brings a fresh cast and promises a new layer of humour, chaos and relationship drama.

The first poster, unveiled in October last year, introduced Ayushmann Khurrana as Prajapati Pandey and teased a story packed with love, laughter and trademark marital confusion. Backed by producers Bhushan Kumar and Renu Ravi Chopra, with Juno Chopra as creative producer, the film is expected to be one of the major comedy releases of 2026.
