As part of the ‘Class of 26’ initiative, the ICC brought the Men’s T20 World Cup trophy to the alma maters of Hardik Pandya, Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson, celebrating their early journeys and inspiring students ahead of the 2026 tournament.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Trophy Tour under the ‘Class of 26’ campaign revisited the educational institutions that shaped the early careers of Indian stars Hardik Pandya, Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson. The initiative aims to inspire young students by showcasing the players’ journeys from school grounds to the international stage, while building excitement for India’s title defence on home soil.

The trophy was welcomed with ceremonial honours at MK High School in Vadodara, the College of Commerce in Patna, and Mar Ivanios College in Thiruvananthapuram. Interactive activities, mascot appearances and student-led celebrations highlighted the emotional connection between the players and their roots. The tour will continue across more institutions, reinforcing the message that global sporting success begins with dreams nurtured in classrooms and playgrounds.
