Amit Shah to Visit Odisha Today; CISF Raising Day, Project Inaugurations on Agenda

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Odisha to attend the 57th Raising Day celebration of the Central Industrial Security Force in Cuttack and inaugurate several development projects. He will also lay the foundation for the National Forensic Sciences University campus in Jatani and participate in multiple programmes in Bhubaneswar.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Odisha on Friday to attend a series of official programmes across Cuttack, Jatani, and Bhubaneswar. The visit will include participation in key events, foundation stone ceremonies, and the inauguration of several development projects.

Shah will begin his engagements by attending the 57th Raising Day celebration of the Central Industrial Security Force at Mundali in Cuttack as the chief guest. The programme marks the foundation day of the security force and is observed annually with ceremonial events and official addresses.

Later in the day, the Union Home Minister will lay the foundation stone for the campus of the National Forensic Sciences University and the Central Forensic Science Laboratory at Jatani. He will also virtually inaugurate the NFSU transit campus. In addition, Shah will inaugurate the sulphuric acid plant of Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited at its Paradip unit and launch five major projects across the country with a combined cost of Rs 889.31 crore.

During his visit to Bhubaneswar, Shah will inaugurate the Naveen Nyaya Samhita Exhibition at the IDCO Exhibition Ground and participate in programmes related to the Cooperation Department. He will also attend the ‘White Revolution 2.0’ programme aimed at strengthening dairy production through cooperative services, supporting farmers, and empowering youth.

Meanwhile, a Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Exhibition will be organised at the Unit-3 Exhibition Ground from March 7 to March 10 and will be inaugurated by the Union Home Minister. After completing his engagements, Shah is scheduled to return to New Delhi aboard a Border Security Force aircraft. Authorities have made extensive administrative and security arrangements for the visit.
