The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, on Wednesday officially announced the schedule for the upcoming +2 Examinations for the academic session.
As per the notification released by the CHSE Chairman, the examinations will commence on February 18 and continue till March 21, covering all major streams—Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational Education.
According to the council, a total of 4,00,737 students are set to appear for the examinations this year. To accommodate the large number of examinees, the CHSE has arranged 1,350 examination centres across the state. Authorities have assured that all centres will follow strict examination guidelines to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the tests.
For the first time, the council will implement webcasting facilities during practical examinations, a move aimed at tightening monitoring mechanisms and ensuring authenticity in practical assessments.
With preparations in full swing, CHSE has urged students to stay updated with official notifications and begin their revision in a structured manner, as the countdown to the state's biggest annual academic examination begins.
To facilitate students, admit cards will be issued by December 15, giving candidates ample time to download and verify their details before the exams. In a significant step towards enhancing transparency and curbing malpractice, CHSE has introduced advanced surveillance systems for the upcoming exams.
A total of 210 hub centres will be monitored round the clock using AI-powered cameras, enabling real-time supervision of examination activities.
