Over 4.57 Lakh Odisha Women to Receive Subhadra Yojana Instalments This Week; Pending Dues Cleared

The Odisha government is set to disburse the next instalment of the Subhadra Yojana this week, benefiting4,57,681 womenacross the state. The payout includes both newly registered beneficiaries and women who were previously left out but have now been re-included after verification.

Of the total beneficiaries,1,78,398 newly added womenwill receive₹5,000 eachas their first instalment. Additionally,24,018 womenwho were earlier excluded due to various discrepancies are being reinstated in the scheme after detailed scrutiny of applications.

Officials confirmed that all women who missed out on earlier instalments will now receive theirpending dues in one consolidated payment, ensuring full coverage of eligible recipients. This step aims to strengthen women’s financial security and reiterate the government’s focus on inclusive welfare delivery.

Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida stated:

“Around 4,57,681 women beneficiaries will get their assistance money this week. Newly added beneficiaries and previously excluded women have been verified and re-included. Those whose instalments were pending will receive all dues together.”

She added that2,55,265 womenwho received the third instalment earlier but were missing from the 1st and 2nd instalment lists will also receive payments based on updated survey reports.

In total, the government is set to disburseover ₹250 croreunder this phase of the Subhadra Yojana.
