The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially issued admit cards for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations 2026. The board exams for both classes will commence from February 17, making the hall ticket a mandatory document for entry into examination centres.
As per CBSE guidelines, admit cards can be downloaded only through school logins. Principals and authorised school officials can access them via the Pariksha Sangam portal using their registered credentials. Students will receive their hall tickets directly from their respective schools.
Schools have been instructed to verify all details carefully before distribution. Each admit card must carry the principal’s signature and the official school stamp. The admit card includes essential information such as student name, roll number, exam centre details, subject codes, exam dates, reporting time and important exam-day instructions.
CBSE has advised students to check all details immediately after receiving their admit cards and report any discrepancies to school authorities without delay.
According to the official schedule, Class 10 board exams will be held from February 17 to March 11, 2026, while Class 12 exams will continue until April 10, 2026. Entry to the exam hall will not be permitted without a valid admit card.
Notably, 2026 marks a major shift for Class 10 students, as CBSE will conduct board exams in two phases within the same academic year. The first phase will run from February 17 to March 10, while an optional second phase is scheduled between May 15 and June 1, 2026.
