A tragic road accident in Rajasthan’s Sikar district claimed six lives and left three others critically injured after a truck collided with a car near Harsawa village on the Jaipur–Bikaner highway on Wednesday evening. The mishap occurred around 4 pm when the occupants were returning from a condolence meeting.
Police said all six deceased were women travelling in the car, while three others sustained serious injuries and were rushed to hospital for treatment. Local police and emergency teams reached the spot soon after the crash, which was severe enough to cause instant deaths.
The identities of the victims are yet to be disclosed as authorities continue efforts to inform their families. An investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of the collision, and officials said further details will be shared after preliminary inquiries are completed.
