Actor Sivakarthikeyan recently met Ajith Kumar at the iconic Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, where the latter was competing in the Asian Le Mans Series endurance race as part of the Yas Speed Festival. The meeting brought together two prominent names from the Tamil film industry amid Ajith’s growing presence in professional motorsports.
Ajith Kumar, widely known for balancing his film career with his passion for racing, is participating in a four-hour endurance race in Abu Dhabi. His consistent involvement in international motorsport events has earned admiration from fans and colleagues alike, highlighting his dedication beyond cinema.
Sharing glimpses from the meeting on social media, Sivakarthikeyan described the day as deeply inspiring. He wrote that witnessing Ajith’s passion, commitment, and resilience up close gave him an “adrenaline rush,” adding that he always looks up to Ajith with great respect. Photographs from the event showed the two actors interacting at the circuit and posing near a race car, reflecting their shared enthusiasm and mutual admiration.
Director Venkat Prabhu, who was also present at the event, echoed similar sentiments, stating that watching Ajith race on the Yas Marina Circuit was “pure goosebumps and beyond imagination.”
Ajith Kumar’s motorsport journey has seen notable achievements, including a third-place finish in the 2025 AM Class European Endurance Championship and participation in the 24H Series. While he has taken a break from films over the past year, Ajith is set to return to acting in February with an untitled project directed by Adhik Ravichandran, best known forGood Bad Ugly. The film is expected to be officially launched later this month.
