The Government of Odisha has allowed Smt Chithra Arumugam, IAS (RR-1995), to continue in her additional role as Director General, Training Coordination, at the Gopabandhu Academy of Administration (GAA), Bhubaneswar.
Currently, Smt Arumugam is serving as the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government in the Labour & ESI Department. She also holds the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary to the Science & Technology Department. As per the official notification issued under No. 3940/AIS.I, the state government has decided that she will remain in additional charge of Director General, Training Coordination at the Gopabandhu Academy of Administration.
The decision ensures continuity in administrative training and capacity-building programs for state officers. The Gopabandhu Academy of Administration plays a crucial role in training civil servants and strengthening governance frameworks across Odisha.
