Salman Khan in Talks With Raj & DK for Potential Action-Comedy

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is reportedly in early-stage discussions with filmmaker duo Raj & DK for a potential action-comedy. While the talks are still preliminary, Salman has reportedly heard the basic concept and shown interest. No final commitment has been made yet, as the script and creative alignment are still being developed.

Raj & DK, known for their acclaimed Prime Video series The Family Man, are celebrated for blending sharp humour with high-octane action. If the collaboration materialises, it would bring together Salman Khan’s mass appeal and Raj & DK’s distinctive storytelling style in a fresh creative pairing.

Reports and Timeline
According to Pinkvilla, Salman responded positively to the initial narration. Sources suggest the action-comedy will present him “in a slightly different space” compared to his recent roles. With Salman’s busy schedule, the project could potentially kick off in late 2026, once the script and creative vision are finalised.

Salman Khan’s Current Focus: Battle of Galwan
Meanwhile, Salman is gearing up for the release of his upcoming war drama Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced under Salman Khan Films. The film, also starring Chitrangada Singh, is inspired by the real-life June 2020 Galwan Valley clash. Salman portrays a lead officer inspired by Colonel B. Santosh Babu of the 16 Bihar Regiment, highlighting bravery, frontline combat, and sacrifice. Battle of Galwan is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 17, 2026.

Controversy Surrounding the Film
Battle of Galwan recently made headlines when parts of the Chinese media criticised the teaser, alleging factual distortion and nationalism promotion. The makers have clarified that the film is not a biopic and focuses on a human-centric narrative.

For now, fans await official confirmation on Salman Khan’s potential collaboration with Raj & DK, which could mark an exciting new chapter in his post-Battle of Galwan journey.
