Over 5 Lakh Students to Appear for Odisha Matric Exams; CCTV Monitoring at All Centres

The annual High School Certificate (HSC) or Matric examinations in Odisha will begin on February 19, with more than 5.6 lakh students appearing across the state. Authorities have made extensive arrangements, including CCTV surveillance at all examination centres, to ensure a fair and smooth examination process.

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha will conduct the Matric examinations starting February 19, with 5,61,979 students scheduled to appear at 3,082 centres across the state. Officials have put in place elaborate measures to ensure transparency and discipline during the examinations.

All examination centres will be equipped with CCTV cameras, and the entire process will be monitored live from a central command and control room to prevent malpractice and maintain strict supervision. Authorities said the arrangements aim to provide a fair and transparent environment for students.

Educationists have advised students to stay calm, avoid stress, and follow a disciplined routine during the examination period. With preparations nearly complete and monitoring systems in place, officials are confident that the examinations will be conducted smoothly across Odisha.
