The mystery surrounding the disappearance of 23-year-old Odia Merchant Navy officer Sarthak Mohapatra deepened after a detailed inspection of the vessel in Singapore yielded no clues about his whereabouts.

Sarthak’s mother, Rashmita Mohapatra, and his uncle travelled to Singapore to gather information about his disappearance. They were accompanied by two senior officials from the Directorate General of Shipping (DG Shipping), representing the Government of India.
