A shocking incident of gun violence was reported outside Bokaro railway station in Jharkhand, where a man was shot dead by unidentified assailants on Sunday night. The incident occurred near an auto stand under the Bokaro Rail police station limits.
The victim has been identified as Sachin Yadav. According to police officials, the attackers fired two bullets at him and fled the scene immediately. Police rushed to the spot after hearing gunshots and later sent the body for post-mortem examination.
During the investigation, police recovered two spent bullet casings from the crime scene. Preliminary findings suggest that the victim and the accused had links to criminal activities, including extortion.
