India Launches iLive Connect: AI-Powered Platform Offers 24x7 Doctor-Led Health Monitoring at Home

India has launched iLive Connect, a doctor-led, AI-enabled healthcare ecosystem that provides continuous, real-time medical monitoring beyond hospitals. Using wearable biosensors, predictive analytics and round-the-clock clinical supervision, the platform aims to detect early health deterioration, reduce emergencies and cut avoidable hospitalisations.

India has taken a significant step toward preventive and continuous healthcare with the introduction of iLive Connect, an AI-enabled, doctor-led health monitoring platform designed to keep patients under medical supervision even after they return home from hospitals.

Founded by cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon Dr Rahul Chandola and senior interventional cardiologist Dr Viveka Kumar, iLive Connect addresses a critical gap in healthcare: the absence of continuous monitoring once patients leave clinical settings. The platform shifts care from episodic hospital visits to uninterrupted medical oversight, helping detect early warning signs before conditions turn critical.

At the core of the system is a lightweight wearable biosensor patch paired with a wristband that continuously tracks hospital-grade clinical parameters. These include ECG, heart rate and variability, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, body temperature, blood pressure trends, physical activity, posture, sleep quality, fatigue levels and fall detection. Data is transmitted in real time to a central command centre staffed 24x7 by trained doctors.

Unlike consumer fitness trackers, iLive Connect combines FDA-approved and CE-certified medical devices with AI-driven analytics and direct physician intervention. Artificial intelligence identifies subtle physiological trends that single readings often miss, while doctors interpret the data, contact patients proactively, adjust treatments, issue digital prescriptions and activate emergency responses when necessary.

Designed for daily life, the device is waterproof, unobtrusive and easy to use, particularly for elderly patients and those with chronic illnesses. Emergency logistics, including ambulance integration and hospital coordination, are built into the platform to ensure rapid response during critical events.

According to early data from a 10-week observational study involving more than 410 patients, iLive Connect achieved a 76 per cent reduction in repeat hospitalisations. The founders say the platform is cost-effective compared to ICU admissions and repeated hospital stays, making it especially valuable for seniors living alone, post-discharge patients and individuals with long-term medical conditions.

By combining continuous monitoring, AI intelligence and doctor-led care, iLive Connect represents a major shift in how healthcare is delivered in India—moving from reactive treatment to proactive, preventive intervention.
