ICAI CA January 2026 Results Declared: Kanhaiyalal Tops CA Intermediate, Logapriya P P Secures AIR 1 in Foundation

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the CA Intermediate and CA Foundation results for the January 2026 session. Kanhaiyalal topped the CA Intermediate exam while Logapriya P P secured AIR 1 in the CA Foundation examination.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially declared the results of the Chartered Accountants (CA) Intermediate and CA Foundation examinations for the January 2026 session. Candidates who appeared for the exams can now check their results on the official website, icai.nic.in, by entering their registration number and roll number.

According to ICAI, Kanhaiyalal secured the All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the CA Intermediate examination, while Logapriya P P emerged as the topper in the CA Foundation examination for the January 2026 session. The institute had earlier released the results of the CA Final examinations.

Along with the results, ICAI also released the group-wise statistics for the CA Intermediate examination. In Group I, a total of 105,526 candidates appeared, out of which 14,733 candidates passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 13.96%. In Group II, 69,477 candidates appeared and 10,798 candidates cleared the exam, recording a pass percentage of 15.54%, which is the highest among the three categories.

Among candidates who appeared for both groups together, 41,798 candidates took the exam and 3,924 passed, leading to a pass percentage of 9.39%, which is the lowest among the categories.

ICAI also released gender-wise statistics for the CA Foundation examination. Among male candidates, 57,238 appeared for the exam and 11,523 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 20.13%. Meanwhile, among female candidates, 52,456 appeared and 9,576 candidates cleared the exam, recording a pass percentage of 18.26%.

Candidates can check their results by visiting the official ICAI website and selecting the link for the CA Foundation or CA Intermediate January 2026 result. After entering the required details such as registration number and roll number, candidates will be able to view and download their scorecards for future reference.

ICAI is also expected to release the detailed merit list and additional pass statistics for the January 2026 examinations soon. Students are advised to regularly check the official website for the latest updates.
