Four individuals have been detained in connection with the ATM theft at Jajpur Maina, nearly two weeks after the January 1 incident, following strong intelligence inputs by Binjharpur police.
The suspects, all from outside Odisha, are believed to have uprooted the ATM and fled with it using a pickup truck, later abandoning both the machine and vehicle, with investigations ongoing to uncover further details.
The incident occurred on the night of January 1, when miscreants allegedly uprooted an ATM and fled with it using a small pickup truck. Jajpur police had earlier indicated that five to seven persons were involved in the crime.
