In a shocking incident, the body of an engineering student was found under suspicious circumstances inside a hotel room in Bhubaneswar on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Bibuna Pradhan. Following information received by the police, Commissionerate Police reached the spot and began an investigation into the case.
According to reports, the young man had arrived at the hotel with his girlfriend. After having food, the two reportedly went to rest in the room. However, later in the day, Lingaraj police received a phone call informing them that a boy was lying in a suspicious condition inside a hotel room. Police rushed to the scene and shifted him to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
The case took a new turn when the woman who was reportedly accompanying the deceased went missing. She is said to have left the hotel early in the morning, and hotel authorities reportedly have no clear details about her identity or whereabouts.
Commissionerate Police have started a detailed investigation and are scanning CCTV footage from the hotel premises to understand what exactly happened inside the room. Officials are trying to reconstruct the sequence of events and determine the cause of death.
