As Dhurandhar continues its unstoppable run at the box office, the makers have officially announced its much-anticipated sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, unveiling the first teaser and poster that instantly sent fans into a frenzy.
The teaser sees Ranveer Singh reprising his role as Hamza Ali Mazari, hinting at a darker and more ruthless transformation. The visuals suggest that Hamza may be poised to inherit Rahman Dakait’s legacy as the new Sher-e-Baloch and the undisputed king of Lyari. Packed with chilling action sequences and raw intensity, the teaser builds to the powerful dialogue, “Yeh naya Hindustan hai. Yeh ghar mein ghusega bhi aur maarega bhi,” reinforcing the film’s menacing tone.
The newly released poster showcases Ranveer Singh in a dramatically altered avatar — clad in a black trench coat, hair left loose, standing against a fiery red backdrop. The striking imagery signals higher stakes, fiercer action and a far more relentless narrative compared to the first film.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar has emerged as the biggest Hindi film of all time, redefining the spy-action genre and cementing its place in pop-culture history. With Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the makers aim to expand the franchise’s universe, diving deeper into the protagonist’s darker instincts while scaling up the action and emotional intensity.
The film is slated for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026, strategically timed with Eid, Gudi Padwa and Ugadi, and will release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, marking a major pan-India expansion. Produced by Aditya Dhar, Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar, and presented by Jio Studios, the sequel is set to make 2026 the definitive Year of Dhurandhar.
