Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Worldwide Day 29 Update:
After crossing the ₹1,100 crore mark globally, Ranveer Singh’s spy-thrillerDhurandharhas seen a slowdown at the box office. On its fourth Friday, the film’s earnings dipped into single digits, marking its lowest single-day collection to date. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the Aditya Dhar-directed film collected ₹8.75 crore on Friday, taking its domestic total to ₹747.75 crore.
The film recorded an overall theatre occupancy of 18% on January 2, with morning shows at 9.65%, afternoon shows at 20.32%, and evening shows at 21.93%. In the NCR, occupancy was 20% across 921 shows, while Mumbai recorded 18.33% across 633 shows.
Dhurandharhas already surpassed the worldwide lifetime collections of Shah Rukh Khan’sPathaan(₹1,069.85 crore) andJawan(₹1,163.62 crore), ranking it among the highest-grossing Indian films of all time at sixth place. However, it still trails behind blockbusters likeKGF Chapter 2,RRR,Pushpa 2: The Rule,Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, andDangal.
The film has also managed to outperform new releases such as Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday’sTu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu MeriandAvatar: Ash and Fire. However, with the January 1 release of Dharmendra’s final filmIkkis, sources report that 50% ofDhurandhar’s screens are being reallocated to Agastya Nanda’s war drama, also distributed by Jio Studios.
Alongside Ranveer Singh,Dhurandharstars Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun in key roles. Produced jointly by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the film hit theatres on December 5. The sequel,Dhurandhar 2, is slated for release on March 19, 2026.
