In a disturbing incident highlighting student safety concerns, several Class 10 students were reportedly transported on a tractor to their matriculation examination centre in Kandhamal district of Odisha. The incident occurred in the K Nuagaon area and came to light after a video of the students travelling in the tractor went viral on social media.
According to reports, the students of PM Shri High School were travelling to Kudutuli High School, which had been designated as their matric examination centre. The situation has sparked outrage as no guide teacher or school staff reportedly accompanied the students during the journey.
The absence of supervision and the use of an unsafe mode of transport have raised serious questions about the preparedness and accountability of school authorities. Local residents have strongly criticised the incident and demanded strict action.
