One of the most beloved tracks from Border (1997), Jaate Hue Lamhon, has been reimagined for Border 2, bringing nostalgia and fresh emotion to the upcoming war drama. Originally picturized on Suniel Shetty, the song now features Mithoon’s evocative composition and soulful vocals by Roop Kumar Rathod and Vishal Mishra, blending the classic melody with a renewed emotional depth. After days of anticipation, the audio has finally been released.

T-Series announced the release on social media: “When love and sacrifice find their perfect note. #JaateHueLamhon Audio Out Now! Audio Lyrical out at 6 PM! #Border2 - releasing in cinemas on 23rd January.” The track is now available on Spotify, Apple Music, Gaana, Jio Saavn, and Amazon Music, with the audio-lyrical version scheduled for later today.

Following the song release, the film’s promotions will continue with the trailer launch aboard INS Vikrant. Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 revisits the patriotic core of the original while introducing naval storylines. Ahan Shetty plays Lt Cdr MS Rawat, a naval officer, set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. The film also stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and others, and is scheduled for theatrical release on January 23, 2026.
