Tulasi Gananatya Owner Nandu Babu Faces FIR Over Harassment, Threat Allegations.

An FIR has been registered against Tulasi Gananatya owner Ananta Narayan Dhala, alias Nandu Babu, at Khandagiri police station following allegations of mental harassment and threats made to yatra artiste Sai Satyajit Panda.

Tulasi Gananatya owner Ananta Narayan Dhala, popularly known as Nandu Babu, has landed in controversy after Khandagiri police registered an FIR against him on allegations of mental harassment and issuing threats to a yatra artiste.The complaint was lodged by Padmini Das, mother of yatra actor Sai Satyajit Panda, who is known for performing villain roles in the Tulasi Gananatya troupe. In her complaint, Das alleged that her son had been subjected to sustained mental harassment and repeated threats by Dhala over the last several days.In his statement, Sai Satyajit alleged that Dhala had repeatedly threatened him and had once intercepted the vehicle he was travelling in near CRP Square. He claimed that he had sought an advance payment for his marriage, which Dhala had assured would be provided in May. However, when he followed up later, he was allegedly informed that priority would be given to managing the troupe’s operational expenses.
