While in Dubai for the Afghanistan vs West Indies cricket series, Khan shared a playful Instagram reel roasting corn over coal with a song from Border 2 playing in the background. Captioning the video, he wrote, “Border 2 toh mein zaroor dekhunga, but let’s see what happens if I post this.”
The video quickly drew responses from Bollywood stars, including Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, and veteran actor Suniel Shetty, who engaged with the clip in the comments section. Indian cricketer KL Rahul also joined the fun, posting a similar video supporting the film.
Border 2, a sequel to the iconic 1997 war film Border, stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. The film is set to release in theatres on January 23, ahead of Republic Day, continuing the legacy of the original blockbuster.
