Vir Das’s upcoming spy comedyHappy Patel: Khatarnak Jasooshas successfully cleared CBFC certification, earning an ‘A’ certificate just days before its theatrical release. Reacting in his signature witty style, Vir shared a snapshot of the certification on Instagram and joked, “Not a good student, only A I’ve EVER received,” instantly drawing laughs from fans.
According to the certification details, the nearly two-hour-long film required only five cuts to receive clearance, making the process relatively smooth. The film is backed byAamir Khan Productions, which has previously supported content-driven and unconventional cinema.
Along with the certification update, Vir Das also confirmed that advance bookings for the film would open on January 14. Announcing the same on social media, he wrote, “Happy Patel Jan 16! Advance bookings open TOM,” building further anticipation among audiences.
