The much-anticipated Patha Utsav returned to Bhubaneswar on Sunday, turning city streets into lively spaces filled with cultural and recreational activities. The event kicked off at Master Canteen, where residents gathered on a chilly morning to enjoy open-air music and dance performances.

Cultural and Recreational Activities

Patha Utsav offered a diverse range of attractions catering to all age groups. Activities such as fashion shows, Zumba sessions, children’s play zones, face painting, and traditional games witnessed steady participation throughout the morning. Art and craft exhibitions added colour and creativity to the celebrations.

The event also featured several performance-based programmes, includingBhubaneswar Got Talent, skating displays, mehendi art, folk dance performances, yoga sessions, karate demonstrations, and live sketching. These activities were organised along the route to ensure continuous public engagement and viewing.

Traffic Restrictions

To facilitate the smooth conduct of the festival and ensure public safety, traffic restrictions were enforced in certain parts of the city. Vehicular movement was restricted on the stretch between Master Canteen and Ram Mandir Square until 11 am on Sunday.
