In a tragic turn of events, a stampede during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad has left one woman dead and her young son seriously injured. As investigations continue, the Hyderabad Police has filed a comprehensive chargesheet, naming 23 individuals, including the film’s lead actor Allu Arjun, in connection with the incident.

On December 4, 2024, the premiere of Pushpa 2 at the popular Sandhya Theatre in RTC X Roads turned into chaos when an unexpectedly large crowd surged, leading to a deadly stampede. Accusations and Charges

The 100-page chargesheet, filed by the Chikkadpally Police, names several individuals responsible for the lack of proper crowd management and safety measures. Among the 23 accused, the primary responsibility falls on the theatre owners and management. Security personnel and event staff have also been named due to their failure in crowd control.Allu Arjun, who was present at the event, has been named as Accused No. 11 (A-11). Additionally, members of his security team and representatives from the film's production house are also listed as accused.
