Key offices, including the police, fire services, and prisons, have yet to submit the required information, prompting fresh directives ahead of a secretary-level meeting on January 15.
The department has also sought vacancy data from the Registrar of the Orissa High Court and the Judicial Academy, highlighting that the issue spans multiple wings and institutions. Accurate information on staffing gaps is considered crucial for recruitment planning, manpower assessment, and policy decisions, ensuring smooth functioning of public safety and law enforcement agencies.
