MS Dhoni Spotted Training Youngsters Ahead of IPL 2026 as CSK Eyes Comeback

Legendary CSK wicketkeeper-batter MS Dhoni was seen training young bowlers at JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi, gearing up for IPL 2026 after a challenging 2025 season. His guidance and experience continue to inspire the next generation.

India and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) legend MS Dhoni was recently spotted mentoring youngsters during a net session at the JSCA International Cricket Stadium in Ranchi, just two months ahead of IPL 2026. Dhoni, wearing yellow pads, faced several young spinners while sharing his vast experience and tips with aspiring cricketers.

The Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) shared a video of Dhoni on Instagram, highlighting the excitement of fans to see the veteran in action once again. Though retired from international cricket in 2020, Dhoni remains a key figure in CSK, previously leading the team to five IPL titles.

CSK endured a disappointing IPL 2025, finishing last with only four wins from 14 matches. Dhoni stepped back into the captaincy mid-season after Ruturaj Gaikwad’s injury and scored 196 runs in 13 innings. With a revamped squad, including young talents like Prashant Veer and Kartik Sharma, CSK aims for a strong comeback in IPL 2026, with Dhoni playing a pivotal mentoring and on-field role.
