Karimnagar police arrested a married couple for allegedly running a honey-trap and blackmail racket using the “Karimnagar Pilla 143” social media identity.

In a major breakthrough,Karimnagar police have arrested a married couple in connection with the sensational“Karimnagar Pilla 143” honey trap case, which allegedly involved luring men through social media and blackmailing them with private videos.

According to police officials, the woman allegedly created multiple social media profiles, including Instagram and YouTube accounts under the name “Karimnagar Pilla 143”, to attract young men. Using these platforms, she reportedly initiated conversations, gained trust, and later invited victims for personal meetings.

Police stated that during these meetings, the woman allegedly engaged in intimate interactions while her husband secretly recorded videos without the victims’ knowledge. These videos were later used to threaten and extort money, causing fear of social and personal reputation damage among the victims.

Investigators revealed that the accused allegedly targeted hundreds of men, with reports suggesting that several victims paid large sums to avoid public exposure. The illegal proceeds were reportedly used to purchase land, a luxury vehicle, and other high-value assets.

The case came to light after one victim, a lorry operator, refused to continue paying money and approached the police. Acting on the complaint, police conducted a detailed investigation and seized mobile phones, digital evidence, cash, and documents linked to the racket.

Authorities have registered multiple charges under relevant sections of the IPC and IT Act. Further investigation is underway to identify additional victims and possible accomplices. Police have also urged victims to come forward, assuring confidentiality and legal protection.
